Sensual whispers with harden coronary pulsating through your headphone is one way to describe To-Mera. The band mixes eerie gothic sounds with aggressive music. Vocalist Julie Kiss departs from the Hungarian progressive metal band Without Face and takes new steps to form To-Mera. She bellows the traditional haunting vocals with a band that sets a new mark in music going from gothic sounds to aggressive thrash.

To put your finger on what direction the band wants to go would be hard because they are so diverse. “Dreadful Angel” has a demonic sound yet adding a dimension of progressive metal, power metal and also a slight jazz flare. “Born Of Ashes” starts off with some acoustic work with the sweet sound of Kiss for the first 90 seconds and then erupts with ecstasy as energy makes it way and presences known as the song explodes into speed. The drumming by Akos is fantastic and the guitar work by Tom MacLean is amazing. Check them out at myspace.com.
