Germany’s Stormgarde expresses their music through the voice of their female front Sabrina Grochocki. The mystical vibes that flow from the back range of music adds melodic and eerie keyboards with a classical sound. Not only do you get the gothic feel from Stormgarde, they also have a raw underground metal sound, which you can hear on “The Nightstorm.”

Almost Doro sounding, “The Nightstorm” has growling vocals by Daniel Stockner, he also sets the mood with some good guitar riffs that makes this song standout next to the other three tracks. “Left Alone” the band makes another turn hitting power metal genre. This is a good beginning for Stormgarde, look for their full-length CD early in 2006.
