Stars Underground is not new to the music scene but is bringing back the fun of yester-year with sounds like Alice Cooper and Iggy Pop. It’s traditional late seventies-style guitar with easy flowing chords.
“Cold Cruel World” meshes with bands like Mott the Hoople and The Byrds. Ron John has a vocal vibe that you will have to get accustom to like early Alice Cooper nasal sound. The production is fair.
If you into the early glam days Stars Underground is the band for you. The songs are raw and pungent.
