Female fronted Starlet Suicide is a band in the mold of Hole. Vocalist Jennyfer Star sounds like a Courtney Love/Joan Jett mixture. The songs are simple and sounding good for a demo. Better production from a major label could make a big difference. Track two "You make my heart go" music reminds me of Vain's “Beat the Bullet. ”Three of "four tracks" are fast paced and have good rhythm. But my favorite track is “Waste Me Away” which is a slower song that really shows the potential of the band. Starlet Suicide formed in 2004 and released Broken Doll, as their first demo. Not a bad effort.

Band Lineup:
  • Jennyfer Star - Vocals, Guitar
  • Rikki Riot - Bass
  • Theodor Paine - Guitar
  • Karl Thunder - Drums
  • Sammy Sparks - Replacing Thunder on Drums
