Back in 2005, when we received the first demo from SAVAGE HEART called “Stay Savage” the band was in the beginning stages of breaking loose; Since then they have added a new vocalist Marty Scars and recorded their latest demo “Come On In”. SAVAGE HEART has matured in this endeavor with a much deeper sound. The production is very good and the four new tracks are an adrenalin rush. Scars has hints of Halford to his voice and the background vocals give the songs full body.

This is definitely a CD that will pump you up with the hard rockin’ power. The guitar screaming by Gunn is strong and Peter Crow’s drumming is clearly focused. “Come On In” starts things off with full throttle metal with volume, taking this demo to another level. “Living A Lie” is another killer tune that will amaze you and make you wonder why aren’t these boys signed. Jumping to the last track “Far from Fame” adds a bit of that great classics 80’s metal sound with Scars being spotlighted, and I love the background vocals that give the elevation of a MANOWAR sound. Check these boys for some classic hard rock.
