After three albums and plenty of tours, TOMORROW’S EVE are back with a new four-track EP called “The Tower.” Actually, two of the tracks are new “The Tower” & “Remember” and the other two are re-releases from past CD’s.
Frontman Martin LeMar is one of those highly touted vocalists that everyone wants on their team, the man oozes charisma and with the production and musicians that are drawn to him, they are sure to reach a pinnacle of success. Starting things off is “The Tower” a song that creeps in with silence and as the drums sound, blasts of guitar sway from timid to aggressive. Rainer Grund guitar is stunning and the perfect blend of keyboards by Oliver Schwickert makes a great mixture.
Martin LeMar vocals go from Bowie, Geoff Tate, to Dickinson yet still holding his own identity. “The Tower” is a killer tune, but the best is to come, “Remember” is even more powerful as Schwickert keys shred, yes shred. TOMORROW’S EVE are a force from metal to progressive these are two unbelievable tracks that will be burnt in my memory for years to come.
The last two tracks are just an added bonus that are just as good, amazing musicians, amazing vocals and a band that has to be noticed. Don’t think because I did not mention Tom Diener drums, he was not a force; he kicked the shit out of those skins.
