No - they are not Japanese or from Japan. Tokyo Dragons pelt you with hard driving rock in the vein of AC/DC,  and even track two - “Get 'Em Off” - sounds a bit like “Whole Lotta Rosie.” The guitar riffs are in the mold of Angus Young but with a pop sound.

The Dragons have a very high velocity of energy that many bands don’t have these days. “Come on Baby” has a feel of The Darkness meets Def Leppard and it sounds like a song from the past called “Black Betty” by Ram Jam. The lyrics are catchy with good hooks and the double vocals and harmonies make the songs stand out.

My personal favorite track is “Teenage Screamers” which has a southern feel to it with a hard rock edge. Steve Lomax pushes the vocals and the guitar by Mal Bruk sets the mood for a great song. Check these guys out for some good hard rock music!
