80’s rockers KIDD HAVOK and Sun City Records are dusting off their boots and bringing an era back from the dead. Back in the day when aerosol hair spray was in high demand, and leather and studs were a mainstay, bands multiplied in droves. Some made it, some didn’t. But they all had that flair for success. Groupies were in abundance and at times you weren’t sure who was the groupie and who was the band as they all looked similar. But once the band hits the stage and the chicks in the front start flashing titties-- eyeballs were popping and there was more than music being a driving force.

Well that age is coming back and I’m sure as hell happy about that. One of those 80’s bands KIDD HAVOC has just released “ Roll The Dice” and the images of that time are fresh in my memory, bands like TRIXTER, POISON, and WARRANT just rocking out having a good time with musicianship by far some of the best.

Your head will be bopping, the foot tapping and you’ll be singing along to tunes like “Lady Luck”, “Cold Sweet” and “Rumors”. This is a great flashback in time when the tunes were fun, the bands had a good time and fans enjoyed themselves.

Scot Marcs guitar work blends well with vocalist Johnny B. and KIDD HAVOC should have been more successful than they actually were. But as you can hear the music, it still lives on and there are so many loyal fans screaming for more; Sun City Records can hear the roar loud an clear.

Fans that missed that era have a chance to feel the earth move one more time with slashing guitar solo’s and candid vocals with the “Roll the Dice.”

Check out the Sun City catalog if you’re into glam… 80’s rock there’s more to come.
