Sweden has another gem on there hands with FRAISE. Power metal masters with rip shredding music FRAISE can bring it with track-two blazing “Set Us Free” has all the markings to make them a household name. There is great guitar work by Christian Doyle throughout the CD. Vocals are similar to that of a heavy metal Dennis DeYoung ( Styx). As I listening to the CD, I realize the music out-shines the vocals. I am not saying the vocals are bad. I think the music stands out more than the vocals. FRAISE has some fantastic power tunes, which any metal fan will love. Many of the songs are melodic with heavy guitars. FRAISE slows things down on “July” where Jesper Max shines with a nice ballad. “ Profile of the Day” comes back with a pumped up power track in the style of MAIDEN. This is not a bad CD to add to your collection.
