If you were a rock fan on the NJ/NY club scene back in the late 80’s/early 90’s and never heard of AMERICAN ANGEL than you had to be living under a (hard) rock! They were one of the top drawing bands on the club scene, headlining clubs like Studio One, The Fastlane, Stone Pony, Birch Hill, L'Amours and others. In the mid 90’s the band went their separate ways. Then in late 2004, singer Rocco Fury put a new version of the band together and they’ve done several shows since. A short time ago, the band put a new song up on their website for fans to download. That song is “Turns to Grey” and I have to say it’s a great song. It rivals the bands best material and I can only hope this isn’t the last new material we get from them.
