Sweden’s Vanity is the pure power glam band, with female vocalist Cindi taking center stage. She has the seductive moves of a female Vince Neil, which will break down the wall of alternative rock and mold the new coming of glam. Their new five-track demo has those 80’s power chords that made many bands popular: but the difference here is clearly Cindi. She sounds vaguely like Shania Twain with a rock vibe. The guitar sounds by Traci are your traditional chords that brought 80’s bands to the forefront. Vanity is a good band, but they need to focus on the songwriting a bit. By adding some catchy hooks to their already good songs, Vanity could be a force to be reckoned with.
