German rockers VOSS release their three-track demo of Billy Idol-ish pop with
hardcore vocals and straightforward rock. “Piece of My Heart” is down and dirty with
power vocals added sax like a clash between IDOL and BOWIE.
“Winters Comin’” is a bit slower with lots of harmonies. “Sun Ain't Rising” is an excellent tune giving the feel of Charlie Sexton.
All three songs are good but the vocals by Dick Voss make the highlights real on this demo.
