Spinning Chain is a band coming out of Austin , Texas with an impressive line-up Original singer Jimi Scott  from Sony Recording artist The Union Underground , guitarist TAZ from LA's Cherry Street , Kelly Thomas on drums from the band Bloodshot , and longtime Austin Bassist Andy Dought . The band formed in 2003 to release there first demo in 2004. Listening to the first track “Gone” the band reminds me of a mixture of Linkin Park and Alice in Chains . They have a great blend of AOR and metal which should help them make there way to popularity. “My Sanity” is my favorite track on this 3-song demo. It is a power track with catchy hooks and good harmonies. This band is well worth checking out.
