San Francisco’s threesome Grayceon is an unusual bunch, playing a sort of meditation rock. It’s hard to describe the vocals, as they are more of a poetic style with the music being set in an alternative stage. You could even consider Grayceon sort of a mellow gothic style band. “Love Is” is a directional song, but trying to find out what direction is a guess. Hitting the high hat and racking off on the snare, drummer Zack Farwell seems best fit in the mold of Killenstein.

The vocals by Jackie Perez Gratz are a substitute for qualudes. If you're depressed, a sticker should be attached that reads "DO NOT LISTEN: may cause death." Listening to “Into the Deep” depressed me even more: maybe if the band uplifted their spirits and added a better syringe they would get more attention.

Band Lineup:
  • Max Doyle - Guitar / Vocals
  • Jackie Perez Gratz - Electric Cello / Vocals
  • Zack Farwell - Drums

Track Listing:
  1. Love Is
  2. Into The Deep
