Anybody that gives music a go is all right with me. Crash takes a dive in the pool for the first time with their demo “Are U Ready.” The band is young and inexperienced, but they are determined! The first track, “Don’t Look Down,” has tempo problems right out of the gate but I was able to understand the vocals, which is comforting, but control and backup vocals would help. There are two guitarists and I would like to see separation, as it's difficult to distinguish the lead from the rhythm. Track three, “Back to Hell,” has a few cool licks that I really dig but the drummer should lay off the double bass for a while until his tempo can be controlled. Overall, the band has potential.
