The latest demo from Italy’s Chaoswave is dark with heavy bass overtones. The band mixes male Fabio Carta and female Giorgia Fadda vocals, which gives them a good chemistry. Their music could be categorized as progressive or gothic leaning more towards gothic. “From the Stare to the Storm” highlights the guitar work of Henrik 'Guf' Rangstrup as his rhythmic guitar work is impressive. The music itself is excellent but I was not blown away with the vocals by Fabio or Giorgia.
