When you think about historic bands and the music they made back in the day, you would never think there could be a band that could change the music era once again. I am talking about the legendary gods of rock… AC/DC and GUNS ‘N’ ROSES … well UK’s RATTLESNAKE REMEDY has the great sound which could bring attention from all points of the globe.
RATTLESNAKE REMEDY has the AC/DC feel with a slight ambiance of GUNS ‘N’ ROSES. The first stand out song is “Drag You Down” with vocals by Lee Stone is reminiscent of Bon Scott and guitar work by Ben Bartlett shadowing Angus Young.
“Payin’ My Dues” is another good song that brings on a vibe of Mark Slaughter with the presence of Stones vocals. You have classics rock mixed with blues and you can’t help but think is this the band that will have longevity or fade with the wind like many others. Well only time will tell if they will be the fallen leaf or rooted deeply into history.
One of the songs that remind me of GUNS is “Reach for the Line,” but I think the songwriting is not as strong as the big guys, but you can hear strength in RR which gives them potential for a vast amount of growth and a strong future.
So if you’re looking for a band that has potential check out RR and when you’re at it watch their latest video “Magic Man” HERE!
