I knew it, I knew it, I knew it! From the first time I heard the absolutely amazing vocals of Ms. Marion Raven on Meat Loaf's "It's All Coming Back To Me Now," I knew she was a "ROCKER!" Just listening to the opening track on her EP titled "Heads Will Roll" is enough to prove that AND the fact that this girl isn't just another pretty face...she can definitely rock with the best of them!

"Spit You Out" kicks off the EP in very impressive fashion. This hard-edged, modern rocker, which musically can only be described as GUNS 'N ROSES meets EVANESCENCE, builds to a potent, harmonic chorus and features some tremendous guitar work by song co-writer DJ Ashba.

The title track, 'Heads Will Roll' follows this up and keeps your heart pumping with its harsh, grinding rhythm and a chorus of almost anthem-like proportion. I also have to mention that co-writer Nikki Sixx steps in on bass on this one and adds his pulsing bass lines to accent Marion's powerful vocals.

"All I Wanna Do Is You" is another upbeat track, which sounds almost eerily reminiscent of JET's "Are You Gonna Be My Girl." This leads into my favorite track "13 Days." With its gloomy and almost menacing melody, Raven really turns it up a notch and delivers her best vocal on the release.

"Good 4 Sex" is a fun track. It reverts back to that up-tempo groove with some very 'suggestive' lyrics to say the least. Then finally, we come to "Let Me Introduce Myself." This piece features just Marion with and acoustic guitar and while the melody and lyrics are a bit foreboding, it really shows off her voice. Almost as daring as performers who can pull off an a cappella, this was a VERY 'ballsy' move on her part but she pulls it off without a hitch. I've said it before and I'll say it again...this girl can SING!!!

As I said earlier, I have absolutely LOVED this woman's voice ever since I heard her duet with Meat Loaf and this release really personifies my belief. The only thing I regret is that it's only six songs but, just like hearing only that one song off " Bat Out Of Hell III," Marion leaves you begging for more and I for one am drooling at the opportunity.

Check out her website at www.marion-raven.com and don't forget to pick up your copy of "Heads Will Roll" and soon you'll agree that no woman satisfies quite like Marion Raven.
