Top New Bands of 2008:
  1. H.E.A.T.
  2. CHINA BLUE
  3. MARCELLO-VESTRY
Top Three Bands or Artists of 2008:
  1. GOTTHARD – This band is one of the most all-around consistent live and studio bands going in my book. And that period was with a capital P!
  2. JOURNEY – Didn’t think they could pull off another lead singer change but they came through nicely and put out a great record with some nice songs.
  3. Joe Lynn Turner – Another busy year for this legendary vocalist. From studio records and live records to the BIG NOIZE project to what seems like non-stop touring that even included a trip to Iraq. Can he top his 2008 schedule in ’09? We’ll see.
Comeback Band of 2008:

Three Way Tie
  • White Sister (for their return to the stage @ Firefest and hopefully beyond!)
  • SteelHeart (for the brand new record)
  • Trixter (for their return on the scene)
Disappointment Of The Year
  • The breakup of Toto
