It’s that time of year were things start to wind down and I am asked to submit my “Year in Review” selections of favorite music. Well this is my first year for submission.
But before I give you my picks I must let you know a few things.

I have had so much fun and had many interesting experiences this year listening to a lot of music from all over the world as well as interviewing and meeting wonderful people. This is really my first full year with Rockeyez as a writer not to mention a few other hats I wore as well.
I helped co-promote the Rockeyez Summer Bash were I was fortunate enough to play with other great musicians at our event. I performed with my band TWITCH which is always fun, but what made the night special was being asked to support MTM recording artists NORWAY for a one night only reunion! That was just great! Those guys were so much fun and we rocked the house! Then to top it off, I was asked to sit in with another great artist; Ted Poley from DANGER, DANGERto play their hit “Bang Bang” how cool is that! How many people get to play that much in one night with so many different and great musicians! I would do it every week!

So that brings me to my Year in Review. I was asked for ten top picks, but being limited to time I am only submitting 5. I feel these were the guys that stood out to me and made a great musical impression!

I must say that with all the music that I did listen to there is a lot of great bands coming our way in the future. Don’t give up! Practice and it will come! Best of luck and Happy Holidays to everyone!
