KEVIN K AND THE HOLLYWOOD’s CD “Cool Ways” released on Rankoutsider Records is out and showing what American Underground Rock and Roll is all about. Kevin K is living proof of what living in America is all about. Kevin K has been around forever, doing what the hell he wants, and nobody is going change that. He is living Rock & Roll his way, his terms and doing it why? Because he can! Yes The American way!

The music is simple upbeat rock and roll. Kevin K keeps this type of punkish rock, rolling along. After all the RAMONES are gone someone has to keep the flame lit!

The CD has your typical “Girl I love you and every time I see you my heart drops” attitude! The first three tunes are just that “She’s Got the Look”, “Cool Ways” and “You Tonight”. Not much to it, but then again you don’t need much to enjoy this fun Rock and Roll CD!

I said American Underground Rock because you will never see this type of music headlining Ozzfest or Giant Stadium. But you will find this type of music played in dives, bowling alleys and no name clubs across America. That’s what I am talking about!

Kevin K’s music will suck you in just like The RAMONES did. Everybody digs the RAMONES! The rest of the CD continues to be fun as well. “Sick of Brick” is about living in the city wanting to get out! (Yea, the dream of lots of kids). “Night of The Living Dolls” is a song for all the friends that are “gone” sound familiar?

Give this CD a go! Trust me there will be at least one tune on this disc that will stick with you until you hate it!
