Those bloodsucking fucking progressive death metalers from Brooklyn, New York are at it again and I am not talking about those friggin giant Jersey mosquitoes.

I was born in Brooklyn myself when the light burned bright without those night crawling vampires of today; even Goth has rooted itself with killer prodigy WRATH OF KILLENSTEIN whom I might say has the same ambience as AMBIENT DEATH except the guitar work by Lucas Klepacki is more accentuated.

The opening track is a short instrumental running into full blown annihilation with “Manhunt” that has some suburb guitar work. I am not a big Death Metal fan but when music is this good, you have to be attracted just by the precision and greatness produced by AMBIENT DEATH.

The production quality is overwhelming and you can hear that on the instrumental “Death Panorama” which regardless what kind of music you like is a five star tune. Throughout the entire CD, the guitar work is way above simplistic and shreds.

I bypassed this CD because the amount of CD’s we get each week and was contacted by the band asking if I checked it out. So I dug through the pile and I must say I’m very happy that AMBIENT DEATH did. This is the one that almost got away but this time the bloodline pulsated and I was drawn to the light or might I say darkness. This is an amazing array of some of the best music I’ve heard in death metal and if you’re the true music fan you gotta check the eerie trance like music of AMBIENT DEATH.
