A great night was held in the big Apple New York, New York recently as Rockeyez were personal guests of Robert Katrikh guitar god of UNTIL DESTINY as they played B.B. King's.

As the lights grew dim and smoke filled the stage piped in music sounded as the band crept on stage, immediate guitar slashing echoing off the clubs wall as Katrikh spun his guitar around the neck with full blown adrenalin pumping the crowd reaching over the barrier. New vocalist Thomas Engel humbled the crowd as his vocal cords popping from the neck bring UD to climax.

The band is full of energy with non-stop prancing from side to side of the stage. This could be the new coming of a legendary guitar player in Robert Katrikh. The magnetic appeal drawn to Katrikh is chilling as fans scream for his guitar picks and just a chance to touch his hand.

Left side of the stage was the mid-section of thumping bass lines by Phillip Coard with highflying keyboards of Mike Khalilov reminiscent of Jens Johansson STRATOVARIUS. There was a short drum solo after the third song 'On The Run' that gave Joey Teger the spotlight as he called for the fans to raise the decibels level, and they crashed the meter.

The set lasted thirty minutes, and playing the five-song set was the biggest disappointment, because everyone wanted to hear more but B.B. King's has strict restrictions on time. The crowd was three quarters full and many were there just to see UNTIL DESTINY, a band that will succeed in the near future.

Before the show started, we had the chance to talk to the proud parents of Katrikh and let me tell you that this is a tight family unit and they couldn't be more proud of Robert and UNTIL DESTINY. You don t get to meet a family like that, as it was a pleasure to mingle among family members. After the show Robert grouped the band together for photos, signings and chat and they made you feel you were part of the family.
