It's funny how things transpire as you plan on going to a show that features the artist BAPTIZED BY FIRE (Jesse Blaze Snider) . The band was suppose to hit the stage at midnight but for some reason didn't go on until much later, so when we got there, the band before BXF were taking the stage. The band was called UNTIL DESTINY, and to tell you the truth before their first song I really wasn't paying too much attention because we were there as guests of BXF. Anyway, UNTIL DESTINY hit the stage about 11:45 and smoke filled the stage mixed with the sound of screaming guitar. This is a band that can I truthfully say is missing from this side of the tracks for along time. When is the last time you've heard a band that will wake your senses with a splash of Yngwie meets TNT...and get this shit! our good friend the legendary John Macaluso (ex-Yngwie, TNT, ARK, STARBREAKER) is producing their upcoming CD. I listened to their first tune 'No Tomorrow' and I thought to myself I better move quickly to the front and snap as many pictures as possible because this band is going to burn bridges and make a quick name in the music world. Holy shit! This guitarist (Robert Katrikh) is explosive and his aggressive on stage screaming for audience participation will wake the dead. This guy can become a legend with his vibrant playing style and his magnetic charisma. No ego, well not yet, (and let's hope that doesn't happen); But I am sure he was on his best behavior; Mom was in the audience sitting next to Stephanie our Editor in Chief. Now, don't think for a minute that Mr. Katrikh is the only draw for UNTIL DESTINY, Chandler Mogel on vocals bellows out magnificent sounds that are catchy and has a presences of his own. He puts 110% energy into his expressive style and I see no reason why UNTIL DESTINY doesn't have a legitimate shot at becoming legendary. Their thirty minute set was full of great picture opts and the musical energy of the band was high intensity. You gotta check these boys out and pick the EP up once it is released.

Next up was the headliner BAPTIZED BY FIRE with Jesse Blaze. Before we get to the review I have a few comments. We did an interview with Jesse about a year ago on our site, which was fun, but you might have read reviews and other comments about Jesse with ego and attitude and being talentless and only gets places because his famous father Dee Snider frontman of TWISTED SISTER. Our site has no censorship we try to give you the truth and the truth is I just don't see it. Jesse pours his heart into the songs and is a great frontman who has a glow of stardom. So what his father is Dee, and I know Jesse loves his dad as we all should love our dad and be proud, but Jesse is a true rocker and if you see him live, you will know that. BAPTIZED BY FIRE hit the stage before 1AM with some new tracks full of energy. Jesse's non stop pounding the stage from side to side made looking through the camera lens a bit difficult, but the music was sensational. Jesse is like the energizer bunny keeps going and going and going and when Wacker with his trademark bandana steps to the front with his slicing guitar solo's makes the night memorable. BAPTIZED BY FIRE was missing their original bass player Dan Carlysle but a guy named Artie filled in doing a fine job. BXF played a forty-minute set with some fan favorite 'Fuck You' and my personal favorite 'Juggernaut.' They also did a special song for St. Patty's day. If you see Jesse now don't look for the long locks as they have been snipped away and fans took to his new look with enjoyment. BXF played one encore before leaving the stage 'Rockstar.' About 15 minutes after the band finished their set they joined the crowd signing autos and taking pictures with the fans. Check out the picture of Jesse and our Editor in Chief Stephanie!

If you have the chance try and catch, BAPTIZED BY FIRE anytime, anywhere they play before their upcoming CD is released because they put on one killer show. Check out our PHOTO GALLERY of the night HERE
